Abstract

The author discusses the use of chemical peelings in the complementary treatment of such dermatoses as acne vulgaris, adult acne, rosacea, melasma, as well as the use in precancerous skin conditions. The right preparations used for the right indication and in the right concentrations are a proven and effective therapeutic method.
New research indicates that they can be used as a complementary treatment for in other skin diseases.
