Abstract
When correcting the periocular area, especially in the case of medical indications, it should be done in a multi-directional and multifactorial manner. The author discusses methods of correcting eyebrow ptosis, procedures in the lower eyelid area and blepharoplasty. It draws attention in particular to medical indications that apply to patients with very large loss of soft tissues in the periocular area. A special place was devoted to the safety of procedures in the periocular area and possible complications associated with them.
