Abstract

The author of the article introduces the field of molecular and clinical epigenetics, along with the description of the potential of developments in this field for human body. We are getting closer to understanding the influence of specific environmental factors on the mechanisms of epigenetic gene regulation. Moreover as epigenetic changes are reversible, the author is describing how we are now learning how to modulate processes influenced by those changes such as aging and use those changes in personalized medicine, disease treatment and prevention as well as healthy life style recommendations.
