Streszczenie
Nici z polidioksanonu (PDO) to syntetyczne, biokompatybilne i absorbowalne włókna, od wielu lat używane do produkcji szwów chirurgicznych oraz w zabiegach estetycznych. W badaniach hydroksyetoksyoctoweudowodniono, że PDO pobudza w tkankach proces
powstawania nowego kolagenu i elastyny, co zwiększa jędrność i sprężystość skóry.
Autor wykonuje zabiegi z wykorzystaniem nici liftingujących z haczykami od około siedmiu lat. Autor omawia przypadek pacjentki (lat 42), u której wystąpiło nietypowe powikłanie: przemieszczenie się fragmentów nitek do miejsc odległych od okolicy wykonania zabiegu implantacji.
Analiza możliwych przyczyn powikłania wskazuje, zdaniem autora, na wadliwą jakość nici użytych do zabiegu.
Nawet mając duże doświadczenie w zabiegach z wykorzystaniem nici, należy liczyć się z możliwością wystąpienia powikłań nietypowych i nieomówionych w literaturze. Należy pieczołowicie dbać o jakość stosowanych produktów i korzystać z usług godnych zaufania dostawców.

Abstract
Polydioxanone (PDO) sutures are synthetic, biocompatible and absorbable fibres that
have been used for many years in surgical sutures and aesthetic procedures. PDO has been proven in studies to stimulate the formation of new collagen and elastin in tissues, which increases skin firmness and elasticity.
The author has been performing procedures using lifting threads with hooks for about seven years. The author discusses the case of a patient (age 42) who developed an unusual complication: the displacement of thread fragments to areas distant from the area where the implantation procedure was performed. An analysis of the possible causes of the complication indicates, according to the author, a defective quality of the threads used in the procedure.
Even with extensive experience in suture procedures, the possibility of atypical complications and those not discussed in the literature should be taken into account. Careful attention should be paid to the quality of the products used and trustworthy suppliers should be used.
