Abstract

Functional medicine is based upon identifying the root causes of diseases and upon regulation of the body’s functions with an appropriate diet, nutraceuticals and psychological support. In our strive to develop the right tools we are inspired by nature. One of the nutraceuticals created by nature during the thousands years of evolution is colostrum. Increased body of evidence show that bovine colostrum is a valuable support in the treatment of various diseases both in children and adults as well as a positive effect on the performance of physically active people and athlets.
